What Is ProvisionGard?
ProvisionGard™ is a revolutionary packaging treatment that stops insect infestation of your packaged products. It contains an active ingredient that disrupts the insect life cycle and prevents them from reproducing or damaging your products. Unlike fumigations, which are only preventive and must be repeated at frequent intervals or after an insect issue occurs, ProvisionGard™ is curative and lasts for over a year.
It works on any grain-based dried foods, such as pasta, flour, rice, beans, pet foods, and feeds. Whether you sell your products on a small or large scale, ProvisionGard™ can protect them from insects and save you money and hassle.
- 02
How Does It Work?
When insects come into contact with packaging that has been coated or impregnated with ProvisionGard™ they inhale and ingest the insect growth regulator (IGR), which stops their growth cycle. As a result, any insects that invade or reside in the stored product packaging will not be able to reproduce. They eventually die without ever having contributed to the growth of the insect population.
What differentiates the ProvisionGard™ active ingredient from other widely used pesticides is that its technology is based on naturally occurring substances found only in insects. The coating is not harmful to children, birds, dogs, cats, other mammals, or bees

How Do You Use It?
One of the essential advantages of ProvisionGard™ over any other package treatment is the ease with which it can be adopted and fully integrated into your existing supplier systems. ProvisionGard™ requires no extra capital: you will not have to invest in new equipment. It is easily adapted into a wide variety of supply chains through three methods:
- ProvisionGard™ coatings can replace existing coatings on paper packaging such as bags, cartons, and boxes during printing or converting.
- ProvisionGard™ polymer pellets can be added to the masterbatch for woven poly bags, blown film, stretch film, shrink wrap, and super sacks.
- ProvisionGard™ adhesive additive can be used with adhesives for plastic bags, PET pouches, and film bags in various systems.
Once our coatings are applied to your packaging, all of our processes will be tested and certified to validate your manufacturing procedures.
